Rotgate Multiplayer — Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
Data collected
Rotgate Multiplayer requires no account or sign-up, contains no advertising and does not sell personal data. The player name you enter (or the one generated automatically) is only shared with the other players of your game.
Local storage
Your progress (cleared levels, collected cards, chosen language, purchase status and time of the last free level) is stored only in your device's local storage. It never leaves your device and is deleted if you clear the app data or use the reset button.
Multiplayer mode
Multiplayer games use a direct device-to-device connection (WebRTC) brokered by the public PeerJS service (0.peerjs.com) and Google's public STUN servers (stun.l.google.com). To set up the connection these services temporarily see your IP address and the game code; your IP address is also visible to the other players in the game (inherent to any direct connection). Game actions and your player name travel directly between devices and are not stored on our servers. The game keeps no match history.
Third parties
The game uses no analytics or trackers. A font may be loaded from Google Fonts; Google may then receive your IP address, as with any web resource.
Children
The game is intended for ages 13+ and is not aimed at children. It contains stylised zombies and non-realistic fantasy violence.
